  • The Ole Miss debate’s back on for tonight despite the economic meltdown, so all you Belmonters can breathe easy. That also means you guys actually have to pay attention to that CRITICAL DEBATE08 STUDENT PARKING UPDATE they blasted us with in the middle of the night last night. [WSMV]
  • If you want some company in watching it all go down, here’s a list of tonight’s watch parties around town, or you can even go crash Sean Braisted’s birthday party if you want. [Tennessean]
  • But even though the debate can go on, Mayor Dean’s capital budget apparently can’t. [Tennessean]
  • McGavock High School was put on lockdown after some nebulous rumors of violence. [WSMV]
  • Franklin Elementary had an even better day today, having picked up a registered sex offender rolling around in the grass outside. [WKRN]
  • And finally, TennCare recipients are fighting back against the state that eliminated their home care out of the budget by filing a pretty big lawsuit. [WKRN]
