Photo Of The Day: August 7, 2008

We don’t usually use two photos of the same subject two days in a row, but this one was too cool to pass up. Taken by beerbrain on real actual film (remember that?) at the Mt. Olivet graveyard back in the ’70s, it’s the result of superimposing, or blending two images together at the printing stage. According to the photographer, there were two oxygen tanks inside the tomb running into the casket. Creepy?

Photo Of The Day will be a recurring feature for Nashvillest as long you keep giving us stuff to post. Don’t worry- We’ll give you props. Just add them to the pool or tag them with “Nashvillest” if you’re feeling lazy.

Creepy and oh so cool. Great use of symmetry.

I'd like to pour a 40 on the curb for my dead homie, Film. We miss you Film. R.I.P.
