MTA Jingle Contest [Only In Nashville]

File this away under Things That Only Happen In Nashville. MTA is holding a jingle contest, wherein they ask songwriters to “create an original 60-second themed Jingle to promote the many benefits of using MTA services and the opening of the new Music City Central Transit Station.” The winner gets $1,500 and the opportunity to perform at the station’s grand opening, so you can bet the entries will be rolling in, and you can bet on them being hilarious. We really can’t wait to see some of the submissions, and we’re hoping that they’ll eventually be posted on the website.
