Photo Of The Day: July 31, 2008

One of our favorite places in Nashville has always been Dragon Park (actually called Fannie May Dees Park), since we discovered it hidden in the shadows of the neighboring Parthenon. Beautiful mosaics aside, Dragon Park sure isn’t short on hiding places like this one–a PVC tunnel beneath a rocky pyramid of sorts, captured by nashgirl.

Photo Of The Day will be a recurring feature for Nashvillest as long you keep giving us stuff to post. Don’t worry- We’ll give you props. Just add them to the pool or tag them with “Nashvillest” if you’re feeling lazy.

Nitpick: the tunnel is made of concrete, not PVC

haha… that's actually what I was going to say, but I didn't bother. I must give props to my friend who first gave me the idea for the picture, Jeff Lava… and to the “model” in the tunnel, Katy. I think we re-take this shot every time we're at the park.
