Tonight: 48 Hour Film Project Screenings At The Belcourt

Tonight is the night we’ve been waiting for – the screenings begin for this year’s 48 Hour Film Project. 53 teams spent an entire weekend sleepless and immersed in filmmaking, and now we get to reap the benefits without any of the work. It’s almost unfair, but we don’t really feel bad.

Screenings are broken into 4 showtimes because of the unusually large number of films this year. Groups A & B screen tonight at 7pm and 9:30pm, respectively, and Groups C & D screen tomorrow night at the same times. You can buy tickets to individual screenings for $7.50 each, or a pass to all four screenings for $20. We promise that it’s a hilarious and worthwhile way to spend your time.

Some Nashvillest readers participated this year; leave your group names in the comments so we know which screenings to attend! The full list of participating teams is below.

  • I'd almost pay $7.50 just to see a short film by DEMETRIA KALODIMOS.

  • Ha ha ha. Now how did that photo turn up? I am honored, really, even though I look like I'm catching, or hoping to catch something...in my mouth. Wanna catch our screening? We are in group "C."
  • @Byrdie - It's okay, here's me from the 48 hour film project 2 years ago. I win for awkward photos.
