Nashville Is 25th Largest City In U.S. (We Win)

This is no mixed review – Nashville just beat out reigning champion Washington D.C. as the 25th most populated city in the United States. Memphis is ranked 18th largest, but it seems that their population is actually shrinking each year. We’ll catch ‘em someday. But for now, we have high hopes for what this new recognition will encourage in urban development.

Also notable – Nashville businesses are making up for lost time with the American Heart Association. Six local companies were named to the 2008 Fit-Friendly Companies list. If you remember a few weeks back when we were graced with the honor of least heart-friendly city for women by the good ol’ American Heart Association, you’ll understand why we’re patting ourselves on the back with this one.

Awesome! Glad my wife and I could help add to the population growth. Oh, and in about 5 months we’ll be adding another. Woohoo!
