Happy Hour: We’re Still Here

It’s been an eventful afternoon for Nashvillest, but we’re so dedicated to bringing you the happenings around town that we ventured out to find wifi. You can thank us later.

  • A Williamson County educator accidentally posted as many as 17,000 students’ personal information on his personal website. We’re talking names, birthdates and social security numbers here. The security breach happened in August 2007. [WKRN]
  • Breaking news: “Pauly Bear” and “Snoogums” are no longer engaged. Or perhaps the better tagline is “Breaking news: Tennessean writers surf classified ads for filler.” We’re just as baffled as you are. [Tennessean]
  • One more of the poser-cops who were running around town robbing people has been arrested. Two down, one to go. [WTVF]
  • The wife of James Cannon, murdered Green Hills attorney, has been charged with his murder. Her mom thinks that she’s innocent because she couldn’t possibly have “wrassled” him down to the ground to strangle him. [WKRN]
