  • Paul House, who’s been on death row for almost 23 years, was sent home today on house arrest. New DNA evidence came to light, causing a judge to grant him a retrial. [WTVF]
  • Metro Council has approved a new zoning bill that will allow rehab services to be on agriculturally-zoned land. A few months ago, the group Teen Challenge sued the city for $650K because they had to close their doors when the measure wasn’t passed before. [City Paper]
  • An 11 year-old boy accidentally shot a 12 year-old girl in the head this morning in LaVergne. The girl is being held at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in critical condition. [WKRN]
