Mixed Reviews: Tennesseans Just Want To Be Heard

This just in from the department of ridiculous rankings: Tennesseans pray more and also have more prayers answered than the average American. Must be why we attract Bible theme parks like magnets.

We also like to be heard in other ways. Nashvillian Verizon customers are the “textiest” in the Southeast, with Knoxville and Chattanooga close behind as cities 2 & 3. Tennessee also comes in as the state with the second highest amount of texting drivers. What’s wrong with a little multitasking?

What a disgusting statistic to be proud of. If you want to kill yourself while driving that's fine but when you kill me or a loved one that is when it's wrong. We Tennessean are idiots.

@forum poster – You may be interested to note that Nashvillians are 10 times LESS likely to be in an accident than the average US driver.

    Hmmm.

I'd like to see the scientific method used to determine if people's prayers were answered. Seriously.

I think it needs to be taken into account just exactly WHAT people are praying for in TN. I think it's mostly for Summer Milkshake Deals at Sonic – which the corporate gods are happy to deliver.
