Live On The Interwebs: Bonnaroo

Like a lot of you guys, we’re missing out on Bonnaroo this year and we’re not really thrilled about that. Fortunately AT&T is good for more than just the iPhone and they’re broadcasting the entire thing online in the AT&T Blue Room. It’s not quite the same as being there, but we’ve checked it out and the quality gets two Nashvillest thumbs up. Granted, when we flipped it on this morning, we were only seeing live shots of some sunburned attendees sitting in lawn chairs in the middle of a field holding electric fans, but we’re betting the concert footage is still better than nothing.

On a related note, we learned this morning that Metallica played a pre-Bonnaroo secret show at the Basement last night for about 175 people and we can’t believe we missed that either.

Also, why on earth did Metallica play at the Basement? That place is dirty and I saw a girl catch her hair on fire once there. And the bartender smelled funny.
