Tonight: Twitter Meet Up (Nashvillest Guide To Surviving The Tweet Up)

If you missed last month’s tweet-up at the Flying Saucer, join us tonight from 7pm-10pm at Bongo Java (Belmont Blvd). Here’s how they work:

Step 1: Find someone you know to introduce you to the people you don’t know OR find the group of people with computers (easier done at Flying Saucer than Bongo Java, so use caution).

Step 2: Introduce yourself (by your Twitter username, of course).

Step 3: Talk about Twitter until the ice is broken OR talk about Nashvillest (okay okay, we had to try…)

Step 4: Wait until someone pulls out their newest gadget, and watch as everyone else’s gadgets magically materialize.

Step 5: Hang out, drink, converse, maybe take a group picture or two.

Step 6: Depart.

It’s a good time. We’ll see you there.

    @introverted one - We're pretty introverted too, but we've decided to suck it up for our twitter friends. We understand, though.

    @Chris - We don't organize them, we just attend... but I guess Thursday has been a good night for most in the past. Suggest a change on the facebook page!

  • Sounds like a great time! I'll be hanging with my daughters as my beautiful wife goes out to see the SATC movie with some friends.

    But, if I were free I probably wouldn't go. I'm rockin' that introverted thing. Who knows, though? Maybe one day I'll crawl out of my cave and meet folks.
