National Doughnut Day: Where No One Really Gives Away Anything

Word on the street is that today is National Doughnut Day, and we just spent a great deal of time researching only to find that no one really celebrates properly. This year, some Krispy Kreme stores are giving away one glazed doughnut to each customer in celebration – But is it just us, or does Krispy Kreme always give away free glazed doughnuts to customers as they walk in? We feel kind of ripped off. And we’d rather go to the Donut Den, anyway.

Last time I was at the Pied Piper Creamery in East Nashville, she had just made some Krispy Kreme ice cream! Yum.

I think there needs to be a National Bagel Day and Panera should give bagels away. Now that's something I could get excited about.
