• Mindy McCready decided to make the CMA Music Festival just a little more colorful and announced her new fanclub slogan: “You get backstage if you get a felony!” We’re sad to say we won’t be getting backstage any time soon, Mindy. Maybe next year. [Nashville Is Talking]
• One of the Preds’ biggest investors, William “Boots” Del Biaggio, filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy in California today. Del Biaggio, who owns 27% of the Preds, was slapped with two multi-million dollar lawsuits and a federal investigation earlier this week. [Tennessean]
• Franklin police are looking for two gang members who allegedly gave them some false information (read: names) when they were arrested last month. [WTVF]
• Anyone watch that show “So You Think You Can Dance?” We really only only manage to catch it when we’re desperate, but some guy from Nashville made the final cut, ensuring that Nashville maintains its reality-show-star-generating reputation. [Tennessean]
